THE RICH GUY HUMBLING

The Rich Guy's Humbling- Ilighulwa, Ilighulwa, Weeeeeeweee, Walighulaa Manyondoos!!

I fly planes & drive a cayenne (yes, that's how he liked to introduce himself) was the kind of guy who believed that his besha farifari was the answer to everything. Short, flashy & always decked out in the Bolo's designer suits, he had a reputation for boasting about how his money made him irresistible to women.

Every time he was with his colleagues at the yard, he'd pull out his iphone and scroll through pictures of expensive yatch and luxury vacations, with a smirk plastered on his face. “Women don’t care about looks or charm,” Jose Carmago the car dealer would say. “It’s all about the cash. And lucky for me, I’ve got plenty of it.”

His followers on X were tired of hearing about his dating exploits. “I could have any woman I want,” he bragged to anyone who would listen. “That’s why I date Cera- pure class and taste. She knows I’m the total package.”

In reality, Carmago had dated Cera, a sharp, curvaceous, stunning woman who certainly enjoyed the luxuries of life but was far more attracted to wit and conversation than to Carmago's gold-plated ego. As the days went by, Carmago spent more time flaunting his money and less time paying attention to his woman.

One day, Carmago invited Cera to a meeting he was having with a very oiled investor by the name "Tim" at a 5-star hotel along Mombasa rd. Tim was an unassuming guy, quiet, and more interested in finishing his crossword puzzles than in Carmago's endless monologues.

Still, he nodded politely as Carmago bragged about his latest aeroplane business and his “unshakable” relationship with Cera. Tim raised an eyebrow but said nothing. Little did Carmago know, while he was busy boasting to the world about his lifestyle, Tim had something much more valuable—genuine attention, wealth, a sense of humor, makagare kubwa & a willingness to actually *listen*.

Ladies & gentlemen, that was the day kitimbua kilianza kuingia Mchanga for our favorite car dealer. Aligongewa na sii ndipo, alilambiwa na sii mchuzi, alisongeshewa beacon from kiambu Rd all the way to Oyugis. Turns out, while Carmago was busy believing his money could buy loyalty & shumekiariing his online audience, Cera had fallen for Tim's down-to-earth charm and ability to make her laugh—a skill far more valuable than Carmago's Porsche cayenne.

As the reality sank in that hii imeenda, Carmago sat at his desk, staring at his phone, cutting onions as he listened to Dunia Haina Huruma by Bahati Bukuku. He realized there were no luxury cars, no private jets, and no piles of cash that could fill the gaping hole where his self-awareness should have been.

And as for Tim? Well, he didn’t need a private jet to sail into the sunset with Cera. A crossword puzzle and a cup of coffee were enough to become the chief of staff at kamariny wet stadium where pipe laying was the tender as far as horizontal engineering is concerned.

Our boy ni marudurudu tu anaona, UpTo date hajawai amini aligongewa msabwanda. He's in a relationship just to prove online heiraaas that he can pull hoes. But you can't tell a wounded soldier by his behavior. Months later after breakup, he's accusing Cera of liaising with his former business partner "Tim" to try to eliminate him.

Since the boy has refused to enroll for our September intake in Kalahari Desert University of Applied Sciences & Technology (K-DUST), we leave the matters to the Mugumo gods to decide his fate bcoz waligusaa Murimaa. Eloi, Ruto Must Go.🥹
